A Base for Business Travel

It's an 8-minute drive to Edificio Avante in Santa Elena, a business center surrounded by international companies like Avianca, Xerox, Pepsi and Holcim. It's also near the regional United Nations center, restaurants, banks and PriceSmart.

An 11-minute drive takes you to the San Salvador World Trade Center, home to embassies and businesses including Microsoft, Mitsubishi, World Bank, Ericsson, and Bayer.

The hotel is a 7-minute drive to the Embassy of the United States, which is close to the German Corporation (GIZ) and industrial centers.

It's a 26-minute drive frm the hotel to the San Salvador Volcano, with the much-visited El Boqueron National Park in its crater and offering some of the best El Salvador volcano hiking. And with a drive of about 30 minutes, you can get a great view of the iconic Izalco Volcano.

Top El Salvador Shopping and Dining

A 7-minute drive takes you to the Multiplaza, a modern mall with a movie theater, a wide variety of restaurants and nightclubs. It's neighboring Gran Via mall has outdoor dining and high-end shopping, while lower-end stores are found next door at Las Cascadas mall.

At Galerías mall, a 9-minute drive away, you can stroll shops built around a marble-rich mansion that dates to the 1950s.

Metrocentro, a 15-minute drive from the hotel, is El Salvador's largest mall with hundreds of stores and a dizzying number of dining options.

Nightlife Entertainment is Nearby

A 7-minute taxi ride from the hotel takes you to bars and local restaurants along Boulevard del Hipódromo in the lively Zona Rosa district.

Paseo de Carmen, an 11-minute drive, has a pedestrian strip lined by bars, cafes, and shops.

The Museo de Arte de El Salvador, a 7-minute drive, houses contemporary works from Latin American artists in a world-class exhibition space.

A 7-minute drive takes you to the National Museum of Anthropology, a Maya-inspired complex with colonial and pre-Columbian artifacts, along with displays of recent history.

You'll be a 12-minute drive to the Museum of the Word and the Image, a remembrance of the civil war with photographs, artwork, and gear from the pro-guerrilla Radio Venceremos.

The Museum of Popular Art, 13 minutes by car, has miniature pottery and wood carvings in displays that show Salvadoran culture and tradition.

Visit the Country's Best Culture Sites

Joya de Cerén, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a 16-minute drive away. Dubbed the "Pompeii of the Americas,” the ancient Maya village was preserved by volcanic ash.

You'll be a 7-minute drive to the Presidential Theater, home to the national symphony and a slate of stage productions.

It's a 16-minute drive to downtown's European-inspired Metropolitan Cathedral, and nearby El Rosario church, wrapped in rainbow-colored glass and housing eclectic statues.

Also nearby are the National Theater, one of Central America's oldest and most elegant halls, and the National Palace, where you can take in architecture from the early 1900s and enjoy a central garden.
